Jeff Townsend is a successful Black accountant: one of the few in his town. Humble, educated and efficient in his work, he soon becomes bored with the day-to-day of counting funds and often daydreams of an exciting more adventurous way of life. He turns to an elderly Black soothsayer to help him out of his dilemma, only to find that she is way ahead of him and steers him to incredible adventures he could have not forseen!

A crew of five astronauts is sent to Mars, the Red Planet, to discover the whereabouts of an alleged area where diamonds are believed to be hidden. No one has done such a task before. While on their search they are side tracked by loud 'cheeeeeeeee' sounds and oversized footprints as they come in direct contact with the planet's inhabitants: a giant scorpion, giant ant, and giant serpent who seem to be, of all thiungs: guarding the mines.

The Watts area of Los Angeles is the lurking ground of a terrible robotic monster bent on destroying the weak and taking no prisoners. Black Detective Nicholas Morrow is on the trail of the monster but it always seems to be one step ahead of him, leaving a trail of destruction behind him!
